Castlefield School takes pride in putting their students' education and well-being at the forefront of everything they do.They strive for excellence in everything they do, challenging and inspiring everyone to think bigger, to be proud of their accomplishments, and to work hard to achieve their goals.They have redesigned elements of the curriculum to make learning more accessible as part of their commitment to all children reaching their full potential.This is accomplished through 'hanging' learning on field trips, special school days, visits from outside individuals/groups, and other opportunities.Children will have a common starting point and real-life experience of what is being taught if the curriculum is organized this way.Additional experiences and the use of Virtual Reality headsets 'top up' and further enhance this personal experience throughout units of work.
