Hoylake School of Dance is a large, independent dance school that specializes in classical and modern theatre training.Children as young as three years old are welcome to attend a class at HSOD.Many of their former students have gone on to professional musical theatre courses after graduating from high school and are still working in the industry.The Royal Academy of Dance and the International Dance Teachers Association created the dance syllabi.For poetry and acting exams, they use the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) syllabus.For senior students, they also offer LAMDA Musical Theatre examinations.Six dance studios, five of which have fully sprung Harlequin dance floors, as well as a waiting area for parents, a café, and girls/boys changing rooms and locker facilities, are housed in the HSOD building.To the rear of the building, they have their own parking lot.Dancewear and accessories are also available from HSOD.
