The Athenian welcomes you.We opened The Athenian at the end of 2014 as a small street food venture, serving freshly prepared souvlaki in the healthiest, most authentic way possible.At The Athenian, we start by grilling tender pieces of chicken, pork, or delicious Talagani cheese marinated in Greek herbs, then wrapping them in a soft, handmade pita and topping them with freshly chopped red onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and parsley.We finish with a choice of our perfected homemade dips: tyrokafteri, tzatziki, or our original Souvlaki Sauce, a top-secret recipe designed to give the flavourings a subtle sweetness.
