STAMFORD PARK

Stamford Park is a 19th-century public park which occupies about 26 hectares. Park has a deep horticultural heritage and a fantastic year-round show of formal planting. There is always something to see in the park, from evergreen shrubs in the winter to spectacular tulip displays in the spring and the colourful herbaceous border in the summer. The park has play equipment to fit a wide range of ages from cradle swings for children to a zip wire and pyramid slide for older kids. It offers short trips for adults and children around the park, boarding the train near the playground for children.
