Upward Frog Yoga began as a sideline business alongside my day job in HR in the Thames Valley, where I taught yoga in studios and gyms around Marlow and Maidenhead. After returning to Stockport in 2017 and discovering that there was nowhere on my doorstep to practice yoga or many available places to set up classes, I began looking for premises to open my own studio.After a year of searching and a few false starts and frustrations, the unit on Chestergate was finally seen, and it felt right at home.I put an end to my previous (27-year) job, got a part-time job at Waitrose, and began planning the studio.
