STAFFORD CASTLE

Stafford Castle is a stone standing in the 14th century on top of an 11th-century castle mound on Stafford's edge. The interior designed to promote a 'hands-on' approach to history; with fun and discovery thrown in; the focus is most definitely on facts! Interactive components include coin minting, brass rubbing, gripping arms, weapons, and dress up for occasions. The herb garden has a handy guide to what was used back in the day for the various plants, which is quite impressive.
