Windermere Primary School is a mixed-ability community school with approximately 200 students aged 5 to 11.From Reception to Year 6, there are seven classes, one for each year group.Each class has its own teacher, who is aided by a qualified teaching assistant.Reception students follow the Foundation Stage curriculum, while students in Years 1 through 6 follow the National Curriculum.Curriculum planning is done in a themed manner.This method facilitates children's understanding of natural connections between topics while also maximizing curriculum time.Parents are welcome to visit Windermere and lend a hand at school by listening to reading aloud or accompanying their children on field trips.
