Sylvan School of Dance welcomes children as young as three years old and offers a variety of dance classes in a variety of genres that they hope will appeal to anyone who enjoys dancing.SSOD offers exams with the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing starting at the primary level.They also offer a variety of non-syllabus classes to supplement these, and students can choose to take as many or as few as they want.SSOD also puts on school plays in a local theater, hosts summer dance workshops, and competes in regional dance competitions.They can provide uniform and it is available upon request.Many of the children come from Southampton's Romsey, North Baddesley, Chandlers Ford, Rownhams, and surrounding areas.Sylvan School of Dance's mission is to instill joy and creativity in dance movement while also striving for professional status.
