Southampton Dance Academy works very hard to share our vast and ever-evolving knowledge of dance with children and adults, using inspiring music and excellent syllabi in beautiful spaces.We are well-versed in the finer points of teaching ballet, tap, and modern dance to a high standard, as well as the importance of getting it right for a student's development.We prepare your children for a future as dancers or for life skills that can be applied to almost any profession.Individual attention is given to dancers in our classes, and we have a lower attendance cap than the average school in the area. We believe that quality is far superior to quantity.All students who want to participate in our school showtimes or appearances at community events are welcome to do so; see the gallery for examples of previous events.All students are given the opportunity to take their ISTD exams.Classes are currently held at Shirley Warren Action Church. All restrooms are fully accessible, and students with special needs are welcome.
