Chard Museum in converted listed buildings and outbuildings from the 16th century, covering almost an acre, with exhibit collections on local history and displays relating to the lives of notable residents. Exhibit collections about local history and exhibitions related to the lives of famous residents in the area. The main new exhibits numerous WW1 memorabilia a history of Chard roads, railways and canals images from the archive. It offers free admission for accompanied kids.
