Hello, this is Renee and Nic, the Dishi owners.They quit their jobs and opened this small restaurant in late 2019.Nic, a chef for 35 years, trained under Gary Rhodes at Greenhouse and Nico Ladenis when his restaurant, Chez Nico, had three Michelin stars, so friends weren't surprised.In the early 2000s, he returned to Sheffield to work as Executive Chef at Nonna's on Eccy Road.Nic worked for M&S from 2006 to 2019, developing award-winning ready meals.He traveled to Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, New York, and San Francisco as part of this role.Renee has worked in the construction industry for the past ten years, selling roofs...and eating Nic's food for the past thirteen.She is in charge of the customers, as well as Nic on occasion.
