THE OAK HOUSE MUSEUM

Oak House was established in the 1620s/30s with rear brick addition, belvedere (tower), chimney stacks and old barn added in the 1650s. It features some beautiful panelling and is furnished with furniture from the 17th century. The gallery has a lively schedule of activities to enjoy throughout the year for all ages as well as award-winning school sessions. The museum has a vibrant array of events to enjoy school programs for all ages throughout the year. It is the delightful house of a half-timbered yeoman farmer. It offers free entry.
