We've watched as the North West and Greater Manchester have become overrun with Italian restaurants serving classic dishes like Bolognese, Carbonara, and lasagne over the last decade.There's nothing wrong with classics; we enjoy them as well.But we wanted to take a fresh, modern approach to Italian cuisine while staying true to our roots.At Vero Moderno's Chapel Street restaurant in Salford, we strive to serve fresh, incredible food in a warm and welcoming environment.Since opening our doors in 2016, we've been proud to contribute to the area's transformation into a fantastic neighborhood, welcoming foodies from all over Manchester.The Sunday Times has named us "one of the top three modern Italian restaurants in the UK," and we've been included in the Waitrose Good Food Guide!
