St Mirin’s Cathedral is a replacement cathedral church building for the old church located in East Buchanan Street. The new cathedral church building was designed and constructed in neo-Romanesque style architecture in 1931. It is set in a warm and inviting environment, which attracts people even from the neighbouring communities to attend the prayers, worships, activities and events. St Mirin’s Cathedral has a century with exquisite twelve angel stained glass windows. The cathedral has a trust which aims to advance the preservation and understanding of rich architectural heritage by delivering the locality people with occasional meetings and preachings. The cathedral is open from 7 am until 6 pm for personal prayer.
