Alun Mitchell (Mitch) began his physiotherapy career in 1995, after graduating from Brunel University's School of Physiotherapy in Middlesex.He worked for the NHS Royal Berkshire and Battle Hospital Trust for the majority of his NHS career.Mitch then moved into the private sector, working as a clinical specialist in the rehabilitation of lower limb, knees, shoulder, and hands alongside orthopaedic consultants at the Berkshire Independent Hospital before moving to a private clinic in the Wokingham area.After moving to the private sector, he became concerned about how the business side of private practice can often take precedence over the needs of patients.In late 2007, he decided to open his own practice, AM Physio, with the goal of providing high-quality care to his patients while putting them and their problems first.
