Lancashire Infantry Museum holds the country's largest and most important Infantry Regimental collections and is the leading centre of historical military research in Lancashire and North England as a whole. The extensive library of exhibitions, archives, and military history illustrates the fascinating East, South, and Loyal North story. The museum is officially responsible for collecting and storing historical material related to the new unified regiment while continuing to preserve the history of 120 separate units, including 59 battalions established during World War by Lancashire regiments.
