ST. MARY'S LIGHTHOUSE

St. Mary's Lighthouse has all the attraction of a part-time, miniature island. The lighthouse remained operational until it was replaced by modern navigation techniques in 1984. The top tower is 137 steps up to the most panoramic views of England's north-east coast. The local nature reserve includes rock pools, high grassland cliffs, a lake, and newly created wetland habitat. They strive for a wide range of programmes to suit your requirements. Its shop has a comprehensive and variety of gifts, souvenirs, books, toys, and cards.
