Dalgarven Mills was built in 1880 as a historic grain mill. Beautifully preserved buildings provide the visitor with an opportunity to move into the past. Watch the sight and sound of the River Garnock powered by one of Scotland's last working water wheel. It has over 3,000 objects in the collection from 1775 to the present day, and highlights are displayed in the thematic exhibits for display. Its fabulous historical buildings, walks along the river, great freshly prepared food, antiques and an idyllic rural site set them apart from the usual.
