I was born and raised in South Africa, where I earned a first-class honours degree in mechanical engineering before moving to Bristol University to pursue a PhD in aerospace engineering.Following graduation, I pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Secondary Education (PGCE) before beginning my career as a physics teacher at one of Bristol's most prestigious independent schools.I also went on to the Open University to pursue a humanities degree.
