Discovery Museum' is home to one of the finest collection of scientific and technical material outside of London. It housing significant collection on maritime history, social history, and regimental history. Packed with the interesting collection and interactive displays. This will be the perfect place to learn and have fun for all ages. The Museum also shows a replica of Swan's first lightbulb, Stephenson's steam engine models, ship models from Swan Hunter's famous Tyne shipyards, and a prototype of the BAE systems challenger 2 tanks shown outside the museum. Wheelchairs are available for visitor use. The Museum open for 7 days a week with free admission.
