Dance City' is a vibrant and welcoming dance school where people can come together to participate in, enjoy, talk about, and experience dance; learn and train, where aspiring and professional dancers meet; watch world-class dance performances; and come along and get involved in dance.It is the North East's leading dance development organization, with the mission of leading and supporting a thriving dance ecology in the region.Dance City offers weekly classes in a variety of dance styles for people of all ages, from complete beginners to seasoned dancers.Their Engagement Team offers workshops to schools outside of their landmark building so that students can interact with the champion and learn about best practices in participatory dance from people all over the region.They also provide formal dance training for talented young people aged 10 to postgraduate level through their Academy, as well as support professional dance artists and choreographers.
