St Joseph, husband of Our Lady and foster-father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, is the patron of our School and the Catholic parish of Newbury.“Ora et Labora,” or “Pray and Work,” is our school motto.Our school's motto emphasizes the importance of faith as the foundation for all of our work.We strive to provide our students with a comprehensive Catholic education that promotes integral human development of the body, mind, and spirit through worship, work, and play.Our mission statement reflects this goal: to educate our children by following in Jesus' footsteps, recognizing the Holy Spirit in ourselves and one another, and nurturing our God-given talents.We are a mixed Roman Catholic primary school in Newbury, West Berkshire, run by the West Berkshire Local Authority and the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth.
