Middlesbrough Golf Club was formally opened in April 1939 and in 1990 new holes were laid through acquired woodland to give them the design as it is today. The course is located in the countryside 5 miles south of Middlesbrough with stunning views of the Cleveland Hills. Features many alluring and challenging holes, the tree-lined short 4th (197 yards), the dog-leg 11th, around or over Oakwood (544 yards). The pro shop stock all the biggest brands in golf equipment and offer good advice as well as very reasonable prices.
