Chetham's School of Music is one of Manchester's largest and most independent music schools.Their tutors are all professional musicians with a lot of experience.Chetham's helps every student find their musical path to develop as a performer from the very first day.With ensemble rehearsals and academic music lessons, each student receives individual instruction in first and second study instruments.Over two-thirds of their 300 students, ages 8 to 18, live and learn at their city center location.They encourage students to practice on a daily basis (Years 4–11) or independently (Sixth Form).There are eight weekly Lunchtime Concerts, as well as additional performances, where you can perform.
