TYRWHITT DRAKE MUSEUM OF CARRIAGES

The Carriages Museum of Tyrwhitt Drake is home to a fascinating collection of horse-drawn vehicles and curiosities of transport. The group established in the stables of the 14th century, part of the complex used by the Archbishop of Canterbury while passing through the county by the medieval Archbishop's Palace. It has more than 60 cars, from large carriages and decorated sleighs to vintage sedan chairs and Victorian cabs. It affords free admission for a child under five years.
