Irish Linen Centre & Lisburn Museum has an aim to collect, safeguard and interpret objects and knowledge relevant to the Irish linen industry and the Lagan Valley past. They explore the industrial heritage of Ireland in the award-winning exhibition of the museum. Visitors can also learn about the early development of Lisburn in the show' Building a City: 17th Century Lisburn' in the museum. The museum offers free tours of historic Lisboa and Castle Gardens, as well as a variety of open group educational workshops, including WWII, Ancient Egypt, and Science Week. It affords free guided tour and workshops.
