Wilberforce House' is the birthplace of William Wilberforce, a famous campaigner against the slave trade. The museum tells the story of the transatlantic slave trade and its abolition, as well as dealing with contemporary slavery. It has local craftsmanship, clock construction, Hull Silver set, East Yorkshire Regiment and Edwardian Hull Last fifteen minutes entry. Galleries also offer a fascinating glimpse into West African culture. Friendly disabled parking & wheelchair accessible. Admission to Wilberforce House is free. Assistance dogs are welcome.
