In 2009, we began offering our five-day Rock Schools.Our goal was to create an experience that would help and inspire young people who love music to start making their own. We know from our years of working with talented young musicians that making music can have an impact that goes beyond just musical skill development.It gives them a vehicle to develop confidence, self-esteem, and teamwork skills that will benefit them in all aspects of their lives.Kick Music CIC is a not-for-profit community interest company based in Ipswich and run by a small group of musicians and educators.The Punch Studios recording studio, The Smokehouse music venue, and a number of other organizations that share our values of engaging and empowering young people in our community call South Street Studios home.It makes no difference whether the goal is to perform at Glastonbury, have a good time with friends, or study music at a college or university.We're here to help all of Ipswich's young musicians gain the skills and confidence they need to achieve their goals.
