HALIFAX TOWN HALL

Halifax Town Hall is a 19th-century Halifax Town Hall Grade II listed building. It is notable for Charles Barry's furniture and interiors, and his friend, Edward Middleton Barry, and John Thomas's sculptures. The building was opened to the public on 11 August, and on 18 September 1863 the first meeting of the Council took place in the new Town Hall. It provides guided free tours.
