Robertson Dance Academy, based in Fife, Scotland, is an energetic, fun, and enthusiastic dance school.Ballet, Tap, Modern, Scottish Highland Dancing, Commercial Street Dance, AcroDANCE, and Musical Theatre classes are offered on a weekly basis.Tiny Toes: Children as young as two years old can enroll in Tiny Toes Ballet or Tiny Toes Tap classes, where they will learn the fundamentals of dance, music, and movement.Starlite 1 & Starlite 2: Following Tiny Toes, children as young as two years old can enroll in Starlite 1 & Starlite 2 classes, where they will learn the foundations of dance, music, and movement.Our Starlite dancers will learn to link dance steps into one another, building on the set exercises from Starlite 1 & Starlite 2 to create dance routines.Pre-Primary & Primary: By the age of 8, children will be comfortable with set syllabus exercises and will take part in BATD examinations for the first time.First Steps: From the age of 6 - 7 years old, our First Steps dancers will learn to link dance steps into one another, building on the set exercises from Starlite 1Grades 1 through 5: Children will progress through the BATD graded examinations, improving their dance technique, strength, flexibility, posture, musicality, and performance with each grade.Musical Theatre Class: This class is just for fun!Children in Primary 1 can join our Musical Theatre Performance classes, which combine singing, acting, and dancing.Commercial Street Dance: This class is fresh and funky, with the latest chorography in Commercial Jazz and Street Dance.There are no formal dance examinations, and children as young as Primary 4 can join.
