Since the mid-1850s, Ide Primary School has been at the heart of the village of Ide, and has grown over the years to accommodate 136 students and a thriving pre-school on site.Although over half of the students come from outside the school's designated catchment area, which covers about 15 square miles and includes the villages of Ide, Dunchideock, and Longdown.Parents frequently choose the school because of its small size, rural setting, unique curriculum approach, and emphasis on knowing children as individuals.
