Dr. Jo Beckett has worked in the NHS for over 20 years as a Chartered Principal Clinical Psychologist. Over the course of her career, she has dealt with people who have experienced emotional anguish, mental illness, cognitive impairment, and physical disease. She has a strong background in neuropsychology and psychometric testing. She also received training in management techniques, supervision, mentoring, coaching, and service development. Dr. Jo uses cognitive behavioral therapy, systemic therapy, compassion focused therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and motivational interviewing to treat her patients. She works with schools and private companies to provide private counseling, mental health awareness, resilience training, and consulting.
