First Stage Dance and Theatre Academy, founded in 1996 by its Principal, Loraine Campbell, has grown to become one of Derby's most successful dance and theatre schools. First Stage offers dance training based on the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) syllabus, which was established over 100 years ago.This is a well-known and respected dance education organization with very high standards.In addition, First Stage collaborates with LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) to provide musical theatre training (singing and acting).
