The Essex Police Museum has a school curriculum to compare with the current national curriculum. Their mission is to preserve Essex Police's heritage, enhance public knowledge, awareness of their police force's past by gathering, documenting, and showcasing the information related to Essex Police's history. They have more than 25,000 items in the collection of objects, photographs, and paper documents. The museum provides wheelchair access and a wide variety of interactive and multi-sensory displays, and the ability to tailor visits. Admission and parking are free.
