Verulamium Museum is one of Britain's most important Roman towns. They explore the wonders of Roman life, immerse themselves in recreated Roman rooms and admire on display the craftsmanship of the intricate mosaics of large scale. You can also view the recent discoveries like the Sandridge Hoard, a series of 159 gold coins from Roman times. It provides children with a selection of free activity sheets, and dressing up clothes are available on weekends and school holidays. They offer free admission for kids under 5s. Assistance and guide dogs are welcome.
