Leeds Castle was a Norman fortress; it was the particular property of six of England's ancient queens, a castle used by Henry VIII and an elegant refuge for the wealthy and famous early 20th century, and in the 21st century it became one of Britain's most visited historic buildings. They bring the staterooms to life, and in many of the other Castle rooms, tourists can see the influence of the Medieval and Tudor periods. With 500 areas of magnificent parkland and formal gardens, outdoor activities, free-flying falconry exhibits, exciting events, unique travels and attractions completely the year.
