Mrs Helen Gaskell founded Kingsmead Day Nursery in 1989, with 11 children on the register, in a large Victorian house on the outskirts of the city.The nursery has grown over the years to accommodate everything from newborns to school-aged children.Over the course of its 31 years, Kingsmead Day Nursery has cared for thousands of children, and it is now welcoming the children of those who used to attend the nursery.Kingsmead Day Nursery takes great pride in providing a high level of care to all of the children who attend.
