The Cruickshank Botanic Garden has an internationally important collection of plants a valuable educational resource, part of the heritage of the University and City of Aberdeen. The garden features with shrub boundaries a rock, and water garden, sunken garden, rose garden, herbaceous border, and arboretum. It houses a range of over 2,500 marked plants that are of national importance. And also, it has a large collection of rhododendrons and flowering bulbs with several rare shrubs and trees. They provide an educational resource both for University students and for the thousands of schoolchildren. This stunning 11 acre Garden gives visitors year-round attraction.
