Peel Tower was one of two monuments erected in the memory of Sir Robert Peel. The tower stands 128ft high and offer stunning views over Manchester and North Wales. The stone for the tower was obtained from the hillside. The Tower offers wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, after climbing the staircase to the top you can sometimes see as far as Blackpool and Wales.
