St Marie’s Church is located in the heart of the town centre, serving the community with regular masses, prayers and other religious services. It stands as a proud reminder of the Catholic community since 1842, which means the church has been a worship place for more than a century. St Marie’s Church welcomes everyone regardless of age, culture and backgrounds to attend the prayers and worships to understand the idea and importance of the faith, glory and hope towards God. The church is recently funded by the National Lottery Heritage to restore the iconic lantern tower.
