Wing Chun Kung Fu is a Chinese close-quarter fighting system that was first demonstrated in the West by movie star Bruce Lee.Grandmaster Ip Man (aka Yip man), Bruce Lee's teacher, brought it from China to Hong Kong in 1949.Wing Chun was developed in the 17th century by Shaolin nun Ng Mui and named after her first student, Yim Wing Chun.It has been passed down and refined by successive masters to become the one-of-a-kind fighting system that it is today.It combines explosive punches, elbows, palms, chops, and mid to low section kicks, and uses the most direct lines for attack and defense.
