when the African continent got under my skin over twenty years ago. It ignited my passion for photography. The vast landscapes, big skies, ever changing light and vibrancy was second to none. I vividly remember taking this photo in Northern Uganda. I remember the early start to seek out wildlife, the bumpy jeep ride with thread bare sets and dangling wing mirrors, the taste of dust, and the smell of wild sage. And I remember the moment I glanced around to see the most perfectly positioned rising sun.
