St Mary’s Catholic Church is a new Church and Parish complex formed in December 1998, and they believe that Christianity is a relationship. Their Church building is a real focal point on Ewenny Road. The round tower, made from the Ewenny stone of the original church, with the cross and made locally at Merthyr Mawr, it illuminated at night, is a beautiful symbol of their Catholic faith. St Mary’s is not just a building, a meeting place or a hall. It is a consecrated and holy place. The monthly mass is celebrated for the Polish and Filipino communities.
