About me https://plus.google.com/b/114325940576780405479/114325940576780405479/about/p/pub I began my Yoga practice in 1987, after training in Karate and studying Hebrew Kabbalah, as well as many and various world religions and belief systems, with Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan, under Guru Sangat Singh, Shiv Charan Singh, and Guru Dharam Singh.Gatka was another skill I picked up.Due to circumstances, I had to start teaching within two years, which prompted me to research a variety of approaches, including Vinyasa Krama.My teaching experimented with Osho's dynamic meditations as a result of my interests in movement and meditation.I trained with VTOL Dance Co., Russel Maliphant, Kirstie Simson, Scott Clark, Motionhouse, Angus Balbirnie, and Stephen Petronio, among others, while studying and performing in a variety of traditional and contemporary dance styles.During this time, yoga was used to inform my movement, choreography, and teaching, and it proved invaluable in a supplementary and rehabilitative capacity in the study of various martial arts, particularly Aikido under Senseis Minoru Kanetsuka and William Smith.In a previous career in social services, I used Yoga to help a variety of client groups, including young people, adults with physical and mental health issues, and those with learning disabilities improve their quality of life.In recent years, Erich Schiffmann's approach and Ashtanga Yoga have influenced my Yoga practice.My understanding has grown thanks to my studies with David Swenson, Edward Clark, Sharat Rangaswami, Godfrey Devereaux, and others.In 1999, I worked on a video performance project with the internationally acclaimed Tripsichore Yoga Theatre Company as part of a comeback to performing.
