Bournemouth Natural Science Society & Museum runs a comprehensive year-round program of events, including lectures, open days for museums, exhibitions, study groups, field meetings, cultural visits, and social activities. It houses a fascinating museum of numerous collections, ranging from natural history to Egyptology, and two libraries with more than 5000 volumes. BNSS has acquired from around the world many thousands of items collected. It offers the Bournemouth people an opportunity to see some of their natural heritage. The museum collections are open from 10 am to 4 pm on Tuesdays.
