Cats Whiskers Day Nursery is a family-run, 'home from home' style nursery with staff who are dedicated to the learning and development of children.The nursery, which opened in October 2000, is owned by Brian and Jacqui Pringle, who continue to have a significant role in the day-to-day operations.Felicity, affectionately known as Fizz by the children, runs the nursery.Fizz spent her entire childhood working in the nursery, from work experience as a teenager to holiday support, music and drama sessions, and eventually becoming the EYP and then the Early Years Manager.Fizz has a BA(Hons) in Performing Arts and Music and a postgraduate qualification as an Early Years Professional.Several members of the staff have worked at Cats Whiskers for more than ten years.Greg, Brian and Jacqui's son, comes to the nursery on a regular basis as our music specialist, leading African Drumming workshops for the kids.Their great-niece recently completed an apprenticeship with us and earned a Level 3 in Childcare and Education. She is now a fully qualified member of the Team.
