Smithills Hall is one of the oldest and best-preserved manor houses in the North West of England. Has been added to, and provides a fascinating history of the people who lived there and the buildings include Tudor and Victorian wing. Hall is a Grade 1 listed building, full of history and drama. Guided tours by experienced volunteer guides from the Smithills Hall for families and individuals, visitors can enjoy the rich history of the Hall during the opening hours.
