Elsecar Heritage Centre is a unique family attraction and a working hub of industry. The centre has a nearby park, canal-side walks and access for the Trans Pennine Trail. Visitors to the Elsecar Heritage Center can find an interesting array of individual craft workshops, artist studios, ancient centres. They have an indoor play centre, cafe and historic steam railway for children. Its fantastic architecture, great gigs, shows and concerts in Building 21, fascinating visitor centre, unique Newcomen Engine, neighbouring heritage railway, and sparkling galleries.
