Holy Rood Catholic Church is set in the centre of Barnsley in South Yorkshire, was opened in 1905. The funeral mass celebrated any hour of any day except for solemnities of obligation Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, Easter Sunday or any Sunday in Advent, Lent and the Easter Season. The Church Hall is available for private hire for family functions, dances, concerts and social events. The hall will accommodate a maximum of 155 people seated (200 standing) with disabled access and disabled toilet facilities and ample parking in the car park opposite the church.
